TiE Startup Premier League (TSPL)

TiE Startup Premier League (TSPL) is an innovative concept that is bringing a lot of fresh ideas to the table. It is first of it’s kind platform in Rajasthan, tailor made for the startups. The idea is to celebrate & promote entrepreneurship and sportsmanship by taking a weekend off from the everyday problem solving hustle and create a sustainable bonding between startups and TiE community.

This IPL styled cricketing event is a combination of the Indian inborn craziness for the sport with the frenzy and energy of the startups. TSPL is a professional Box Cricket League including group stage matches, semi-finals and finals wherein 10 startups teams fulfilling the eligibility criteria would play against each other to win the league winner trophy and many other awards.
But wait, TSPL is not just about cricket, it’s a platform for startups to network with the TiE community of successful entrepreneurs, mentors and investor s providing them with a larger outreach and backing that they deserve.

TEAM AUCTION

An interesting highlight of TSPL will be team auction wherein successful business owners will bid to buy startup teams that they wish to own for the league. Alongside, they may choose to provide business mentoring to the startup team.

STARTUPS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. Startup has a valid ‘Certificate of Recognition’ issued by DPIIT, Govt. of India
  2. Startup has minimum 10 employees (full time) and atleast 2 female employees working out of Jaipur base location
  3. Startup has either
    1. Last 6 months average MRR > Rs. 5 lakhs OR
    2. Has raised equity (non-promoter) funding Rs. 25 lakhs or more in last 3 years OR
    3. Had been shortlisted in TiE Smashup 2022 for speed dating pitches

Note – Please note that above is an eligibility criterion, it doesn’t guarantee a team’s selection despite they fulfil all above requirements. TSPL organizers have right to reject any application at any point of time if deemed necessary.
